Ok, I've just finished my gusset and I'm thinking I must have missed a step in marking. If I leave the gusset where it is then all my short rows are on
one leg instead of at the rear. How do I at this point find the front and back center? Obviously I'll frog the gusset first... Thanks!

If you follow the pattern instructions, the short rows would be centered around the beginning of round stitch marker. That marker marks the center-back.
It sounds like you did your short rows a different way, but if you can find the center of your short rows you should be able to put a new marker there and half way around from there. Without knowing how you did your short rows I'm not sure what else I can suggest. |
